Faith in action -web design

Web design for the Congregation de Notre Dame archives

The Congrégation de Notre-Dame Archives is a vast digital collection preserving centuries of history, education, and community life. As one of Montreal’s oldest institutions, its legacy extends from the early days of New France to the present, spanning five continents. The archive offers an extraordinary visual and textual record of schools, students, and Sisters, chronicling the evolution of education and faith across generations.

OneDesigner was commissioned to design a new website that could present this immense historical repository with clarity, elegance, and accessibility. The challenge was to build a digital experience that honored the depth of the material while making exploration intuitive for scholars and the general public alike.

The resulting interface balances visual richness with archival precision — allowing users to navigate through photographs, documents, and narratives that define over three centuries of collective memory.
